This Australian company established in 1981, conducts a range of Australian bushwalking tours offering small groups of 6 to 12 people the opportunity to participate in guided day hikes, visiting off-track areas without the burden of overnight backpacks. Proprietor Ian Ransom and guide Robyn Guy, who accompany tours, who are experienced bushwalkers in Australia and overseas, are keen ornithologists.

The Australian Tourist Commission
A source of information for travel itineraries, special events, and general information about Down Under though download time is slow. Under activities and adventures they list bird/birdwatching where they have a PDF Fact Sheet on what birds you can expect to see in different regions of Australia, and where to see them as well as links to tour companies that specialize in wildlife in those areas.

Australia's National Parks
Provides thumbnail sketches of the parks and an occasional telephone contact number. Some listings have more information than others.

The Department of Conservation and Land Management (CALM) for Western Australia's site that provides information on national parks in Western Australia plus key attractions, travel information, and places on interest.
