Tours and Guides

The Cheesemans' Ecology Safaris
Ecology Safaris was founded in 1980. They blend a desire to observe nature with a wish to inspire travelers with the values of conservation and education.

Field Guides
Field Guides has been operating high-quality birding tours since 1985 from its headquarters in Austin, Texas.

Free Living

Heritage Expeditions
New Zealand's award winning Expedition Company which was established in 1985 by NZ Wildlife Officer, Rodney Russ. Their Expedition Cruises to the Sub Antarctic and Antarctica have been developed so that more people can see and experience these remote, isolated environments and the birds and animals that breed there. We believe it is essential that as many people as possible have this opportunity, so that they may advocate or support the conservation of these (and other) wild places.

Oceanic Society
The Society runs natural history trips with a focus on whales and seabirds.

Victor Emanuel Nature Tours (VENT)
Founded in 1974, it is now the largest company in the world specializing in birding tours.

All WINGS leaders have varied interests in natural history and other more or less closely related fields, but the timing and itinerary of their trips are dictated almost entirely by ornithological considerations.

Zegrahm Expeditions
They offer a limited number of birding expeditions with founder and seabird expert, Peter Harrison, as trip leader.
