The Soft Pouch fits most film and digital cameras and offers ideal protection against impact, moisture, and dust. Avoid expensive repair and cleaning bills by protecting your camera while in use or in storage.

The Soft Pouches are lightweight and weather resistant, and great for use in the field. The Soft Pouch closes around the neck strap so that the neck strap is still usable. Two non-marring snaps securely close the flap cover on the bottom of the pouch. These and other features make the pouches a streamlined and convenient way to protect your gear.

A strap (lanyard) is sewn into each Soft Pouch at the bottom of the pouch opening (Midsize, DSLR, and DSLR Zoom). The lanyard has secure plastic snaps to attach the Soft Pouch to your camera or to a strap or belt (using the Retaining Strap Kit).

The Midsize, SLR, and DSLR Zoom Soft Pouches include a Retaining Strap Kit with 2 options to attach the pouch lanyard to the camera, strap, or belt. The Retaining Strap Kit consists of 2 parts/options: (1) rubber ring with snap, and (2) leather tab with snap and nylon screw. (See photo of Retaining Strap Kit.)

The Compact Soft Pouch has a strap (lanyard) sewn into the side of the opening. The end of the lanyard has a clip that can be attached to the camera strap or camera (depending on camera model).

The Retaining Strap Kit offers 2 options to attach the Soft Pouch case to the camera:

Option 1: Stretch the rubber O-ring (with a snap) around the base of the lens. The O-ring attaches to the pouch lanyard using secure plastic snaps.

Option 2: Use the camera’s tripod socket on the bottom of the camera to screw in the nylon screw with a leather tab and snap. The soft leather tab (with a hole for the screw) is placed between the nylon screw and camera body. The leather tab attaches to the pouch lanyard using secure plastic snaps.

When taking photos, the Soft Pouch hangs below the camera, away from the field of view and does not interfere with the operation of the camera’s setting controls.

You can also attach the Soft Pouch to a strap or belt instead of the camera. In this case, simply wrap the lanyard around the belt or strap and snap the lanyard to itself.

How to place your camera in the Soft Pouch:

Step 1.

Before placing the camera in the Soft Pouch, attach the pouch lanyard to the camera (see the Retaining Strap Kit instructions).

Step 2.

With the pouch lanyard attached to the camera, place your thumbs inside the pouch, using your fingers to turn the pouch inside-out up to the lens section.

Step 3.

Insert camera lens into the lens section of the pouch.

Step 4.

Hold the body portion of the pouch and turn pouch right-side out over the body of the camera.

Step 5.

The flap can now be closed over the camera with the straps outside the pouch. The flap snaps securely to two plastic snaps on the bottom of the pouch.
